Senior IT Technician

Successful Network of Restaurants and Taverns in Cape Town is looking for a Senior IT Technician to Head of their IT support team.


Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Technician, located in Cape Town. The Senior Technician will be responsible for the below:

Knowledge and Experience

• Understanding of pos systems
• Add and register employees
• Reporting and site management
• Setup and manage pos databases
• Integrate third party services
• Configure network and serial printers
• Technical troubleshooting and day to day support
• Microsoft operating systems from Windows 11 up until Windows Server 2022 but not limited
• Ability to build, maintain and repair computers, laptops and servers
• Strong fundamentals of networking and understanding of WLAN, VOIP, WAN and LAN environments.
• Design, configure and maintain network infrastructure i.e. Fortinet, Mikrotik, L3 network switches, Dell Servers, etc. but not limited

Qualifications and Attributes

• Punctual and Presentable
• Strong work ethic and quick leaner
• Ability to work under pressure and motivated
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in IT
• NB. Must have a valid drivers license
• Pilot experience would be an advantage
