Sales Engineer - Power Generation

A well-established player in the power generation and electrical engineering space is expanding their Pretoria operation and is looking for Sales Engineers with strong electrical fundamentals and a consultative sales approach.

This role suits someone who enjoys technical solution sales, works well with engineers and project teams, and understands the demands of power plants, substations, or heavy electrical environments.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Technology
• Proven experience in technical or electrical sales
• Exposure to power generation, power plants, substations, or heavy electrical systems
• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel locally

Job Experience & Skills Required

• Selling electrical solutions, equipment, or services into industrial or power environments
• Working with consulting engineers, EPCs, utilities, or plant operators
• Preparing technical proposals, quotations, and tenders
• Building long-term relationships with key stakeholders
• Target-driven with strong communication and technical understanding
