Duties / Responsibilities
Accurately cutting of rolls, based on requirements on Picking Slips
Measurement of rolls after cutting
Reporting of any excess losses based on balances
Wrapping of rolls and repacking damaged rolls
Keeping accurate cutting list records
Responsible for general housekeeping and cleaning in the cutters areaAssisting with the unpacking of containersAssist with stock takes and warehouse checksAssist with preparation of road freight as requiredAssist with deliveries by accompanying the Driver when requested to do soAssisting at Dispatch when required
Generally, assist with any requirements in the warehouse as may be directed

Junior Packaging Machine Equipment Technician
We looking to employ a junior packaging machine technician
to support the installation, operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting
of packaging machinery, ensuring equipment runs efficiently, safely, and with
minimal downtime. This role operates under supervision and is intended as a
developmental position.
Salary: R9000-00
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with routine preventive maintenance of customers
packaging machinery.
- Perform basic mechanical adjustments, lubrication, cleaning, and parts
replacement.
- Support breakdown repairs and basic fault finding under supervision.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Identify and report mechanical, electrical, or pneumatic faults.
- Complete checklists, job cards, and service reports.
- Participate in technical training and skills development.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Basic mechanical knowledge (bearings, chains, belts,
gearboxes).
- Exposure to pneumatics and basic electrical systems.
- Ability to use hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment.
- Good problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
- Technical certificate or NQF-aligned qualification in Mechanical, Electrical,
Mechatronics, or related field will help.
Experience:
- Experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment will benefit.
- Apprenticeship or in-service training advantageous.
Working Conditions
- Workshop, customer operating areas (packhouses, processing
houses)
- Overtime, or weekend work may be required.
- Exposure to machinery, noise, and moving equipment.

We have a vacancy for a driven and dynamic hydraulic salesperson who has hydraulic technical and fault finding experience. Must have the ability to source components and invoice clients accordingly. Must be versatile & have worked in a hydraulic sales and hydraulic workshop. Must be computer literate with drivers license. A minimum of 5 years experience is required in hydraulic hose assembly, pneumatics, reconditioning of cylinders, pumps, valves and fault finding.
