Our client, a well-established company within the Optical sector is looking for an experienced Capturing Consultant to join their team. This position will report directly to the Receiving & Capturing Manager.
*Job Description:*
The purpose of the Capturing Consultant will be to sort and capture all incoming physical orders on the Electronic Ordering System in a prompt and accurate manner. Cross departmental function with Customer Service and Production when the need arises.
*Main Duties & Responsibilities:*
* Arranging orders by time & date priority
* Assessing orders for potential problems
* Capturing of phone, email and fax orders
* Physical tracing of optical frames onto inhouse systems
* Correctly starting the lens manufacturing process by inputting accurate prescription information
* Querying orders with Customer Service that are incomplete or expected to create problems with frame & lens compatibility
* Correctly wrapping completed orders and transferring frames to frame location
* Assisting with simple queries when Customer Services need help
* Reporting to the Production Manager to assist in all areas of production based on operational requirements
* Basic training will be provided during the first two weeks
* Subsequent on-the-job training will be provided
* Weekly product and optics training is provided to all Capturing Staff
