Duties:
Classifying commercial vehicle dealers based on business scale and risk status.
Implementing tailored marketing strategies.
Identifying and mitigating customer risks during contract signings or visits.
Conducting prompt asset preservation activities for overdue loans.
Analyzing financial reports of corporate customers and assessing repayment ability, profitability, and operational capability.
Identifying potential risks in commercial vehicle customers operation industries.
Conducting detailed credit analysis covering financial, operational, collateral, shareholder, and industry aspects.
Preparing credit papers for client facility adjustments and covenant breaches.
Presenting requests to the board and Group credit committees.
Engaging continuously with clients for monitoring, identifying credit stress, and assisting in recoveries while ensuring compliance and collaborating with stakeholders to manage credit risk effectively.
Ensure compliance with rules and regulations of commercial vehicle retail business.
Stay updated on national macroeconomic and financial environments and trends in the automotive financial industry.
Familiarity with the Groups commercial vehicle products, local network layout, and operational model of commercial vehicle dealers and fleets.
Requirements:
NCA certification advantageous
Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance, Accounting (Mandatory)
3+ years of lending or credit experience required
Sound credit analysis experience required
Commercial legal knowledge preferred

New opportunity is available for a Product Marketing Supervisor for our client in the Automotive Industry. This position will be based in Sandton.
The candidate will be responsible to lead and coordinate the strategic efforts of the product marketing team to ensure the successful introduction, promotion, and lifecycle management of the brand. Duties:
Continually benchmark the Group’s products vs competitor offerings and monitor industry developments for threats and opportunities to propose appropriate action.
Development of strategic product plans to meet customer requirements (ie Rationale, range, specification, positioning, pricing, volumes, and model mix).
Provide research and technical data for all Product Concepts to be used for initial input and planning for the following areas: Product milestones, Lifecycle ideas, Retail to FOB evaluations, Product Requests.
Implementation of product plans as representated in cross divisional project team meetings, PMM and Pricing Meeting.
Support the respective Product Specialist in Local Team meetings and Take to Market meetings.
Supervising the new vehicle introduction process to ensure all deadlines are met and launches are not delayed.
Development of Product Bulletins for the dealer organization regarding all product innovation or changes.
Ensuring the accuracy of the monthly Pricing Report and negotiating the annual price positioning strategy recommended for the market.
Supervision of the price indexing methodology to ensure correct price positioning and model build-up for all products relative to competitors.
Managing the planning and implementation of feasibility studies for potential models to be imported into South Africa, including vehicle clinics.
Supervising and developing reporting staff by setting of work-related objectives, appraising performance and behavior, and where necessary, initiating/providing specialist training to maximize the potential of individuals to maintain a high-performance culture and team motivation.
Requirements:
A formal 3-year bachelor’s degree/National Diploma from a recognised tertiary institution, preferably in Commerce/Finance/Marketing/Business Management
Experience Needed:
2 years of product planning experience (Previous product planning experience in the automotive industry will be ideal).
5 years ‘experience in engineering, volume planning, market research or brand management.
3 years ‘supervisor experience.
