RoleOur client is looking for a capable and hands-on IT Manager to lead their IT function at the company Classic Support Centre. This is an opportunity to play a key role in ensuring that their technology environment is secure, reliable, and aligned with business needs. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of IT infrastructure, systems, and support services, while leading a small team, managing vendors, and delivering projects that support operational excellence and ongoing improvement across the business. What you will doEnsure reliable IT operations and infrastructure, including planning, maintenance, and backup processes.Oversee systems and application management, including in-house development. Assess and prioritise system requests in line with business needs and allocate resources accordingly.Manage IT support and help desk operations to ensure timely and effective user support.Lead and deliver IT projects from planning through to implementation.Manage vendors and service level agreements (SLAs).Oversee IT security and compliance, ensuring data integrity and system protection.Manage financial and administrative aspects of the IT department, including budgets, cost control, procurement, and reporting.Lead and develop the IT team.Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies, identify opportunities within the business, and recommend appropriate improvement initiatives.
