*Role: Company Secretary*
Our client is in the banking industry, this person will ensure the Bank is a good corporate citizen by providing efficient administration of the Bank, particularly with regard to ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory requirements, and corporate governance best practices.
*Qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills & competencies:*
* LLB Degree is essential.
* CIS (Chartered Secretary) qualification is essential.
* A minimum of 5 years working experience as a Company Secretary is required.
* Knowledge of the banking industry.
* Knowledge of banking legislation.
* Knowledge of banking products.
* Internal policies and procedures.
* Business acumen.
* Knowledge of the relevant legislation applicable to Credit and Risk.
* Knowledge of Credit and Risk assessment.
* Interpretation of financial statements.
* Knowledge of basic statistical principles.
NB: Candidates without banking or financial services experience will not be considered.

To create short term capacity in the Group Risk Team for the execution of management control testing in an efficient and effective manner.
* Liaise with and confirm process and control understanding from business management
* Evaluate control design effectiveness
