Automotive/FMCG/Manufacturing IndustryKey ResponsibilitiesPerform planned preventative maintenance (PPM).Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults.Respond to breakdowns and conduct root cause analysis (RCA).Support installation and commissioning of machinery.Maintain accurate records on CMMS.Ensure compliance with OHSA, SANS, ISO 9001 / IATF 16949.Drive OEE improvements and support lean initiatives (Six Sigma, Kaizen, 6S).Provide standby support and work shifts as required.Train junior staff and operators.RequirementsTrade-tested Artisan (Millwright, Electrician, or Fitter & Turner) or National Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical Engineering).3 to 5 years experience in injection moulding & extrusion maintenance (automotive or FMCG manufacturing).Strong mechanical & electrical fault-finding skills.PLC troubleshooting knowledge.Valid drivers license & own transport.Willing to work shifts and standby.
