Maintenance Artisan - Millwright required for an automotive company based in East London Purpose:Plan and carry out daily Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance to all plant machinery.Requirements:Qualifications:N4 in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering – Trade Tested or similar.Qualified Millwright (added advantage).Experience:5 years experience in a factory maintenance environment.Experience on Injection Molding Machines (Engel) (added advantage).Skills:Computer literacy is a must.Ability to learn quickly and be independent.Excellent leadership and organizational skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Additional Experience:Experience in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (preferred).Responsibilities:Preventative Maintenance:Ensure preventative maintenance is carried out according to schedules for both Mechanical and Electrical systems.Stock Management:Frequently check stock levels for all spares/materials and place orders in time.Trend Analysis & Recommendations:Assist the Maintenance Manager in periodic trend analysis of breakdowns and expenditures.Provide recommendations for continual improvement.Daily Emergencies & Work Requests:Be involved in daily emergencies and urgent work requests.Preventative Maintenance Completion:Complete basic preventative maintenance tasks.5S System & Safety:Ensure adherence to the 5S System and safe working standards at all times.Communication of Critical Situations:Keep the Maintenance Manager informed of abnormal or critical situations.Seek advice on matters outside the Planners knowledge or authority.Compliance with Standards:Ensure maintenance procedures and documentation comply with relevant Quality Assurance standards and Safety Standards.Electrical Installat
