Our client is looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to take ownership of key financial processes, support budgeting and forecasting cycles, and play an integral role in audits and financial governance.This role is based in Linbro Park, Johannesburg North.Key Responsibilities:Daily & Monthly Financial ProcessingCapture and allocate supplier and sundry refunds to the correct accounts, ensuring bank clearing accounts are reconciled daily.Oversee and manage the cashbook function, ensuring all monthly reporting and processing deadlines are consistently achieved.Budgeting & ForecastingSupport the Finance team by gathering and consolidating budget submissions from relevant stakeholders.Assist in compiling accurate financial forecasts by coordinating required information across departments.Audit SupportPrepare year-end audit information and documentation for external auditors.Provide assistance during internal audits and recommend enhancements to internal controls where gaps are identified.Banking & Payment AdministrationAuthorise daily payments through the SAP banking platform in line with approved payment schedules.Maintain beneficiary records, update banking signatories, and ensure proper segregation of duties for all bank capturers and releasers.Financial Analysis & ProjectsAssist with ad hoc financial analysis, reporting requirements, and special requests from management.Participate in Finance-led projects focused on improving operational efficiency and strengthening internal controls.General Finance SupportProvide ad hoc support to the Accountant and assist the Finance team with additional tasks as required.Job Experience and Skills Required:Grade 12 (Matric) essentialBCom degree with 35 years of bookkeeping experience3 years experience working with SAP and Microsoft OfficeSolid understanding of Income Tax and VATStrong Excel skills and proficiency in SAPExperience engaging with multiple stakeholdersAbility to drive process improvements and meet strict deadlinesExposure to budgeting and forecasting processesApply now!
