Duties and responsibilities:Conduct inspections on raw materials, in-process production, and finished products to ensure adherence to established quality standards.Perform in-process inspections at foundries, including pattern evaluations, witnessing mechanical testing, and compiling root cause failure reports.Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards to verify product compliance.Utilize appropriate tools and techniques for both dimensional and visual inspections.Ensure strict adherence to ISO 9001 quality management system requirements.Engage in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conforming materials and products.Accurately document and report inspection results, deviations, and defects to the Quality Manager.Collaborate with production, engineering, and suppliers to identify and resolve quality-related concerns.Conduct internal audits and support external audits as required.Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality standards, best practices, and compliance measures.
