Work focuses on a variety of priority species, including wild dogs, lions, cheetahs, and rhinos. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, willing to live in a remote environment, and capable of working independently as part of a small team. This position is an opportunity for a conservationist who wants to contribute directly to the protection of Africas wildlife.Core Criteria:South African citizen.N.Dip. Nat.Con. / BSc. Conservation Ecology or similar qualification is preferred.FGASA qualified with field experience, preferably in a Big 5 environment.Valid drivers and PrDP license.Valid First Aid Certificate.Excellent English communication skills.Ability to carry out field monitoring, including the use of radio-telemetry and camera trapping.Willingness to host and provide a guided experience to volunteers.Basic computer literacy and data management skills.Working Hours & Conditions:The schedule is a 22 days on / 8 days off cycle, plus annual leave.The nature of the work requires early mornings, late nights, and weekend work.What is offered:Monitoring vehicle and research equipment.Single accommodation on-site.Salary: R9000
