HIRING – DRIVER & GROOMING ASSISTANT We’re looking for a responsible,
friendly, animal loving driver to join the Ultimate Pet Care Plattekloof mobile
pet grooming team. We are known for our friendly, helpful and loyal staff. We aim to
have a personal relationship with each of our clients. We expect you to live up to this. To be part of the family, we need a friendly
and positive attitude – one that solves problems, is punctual and reliable. Requirements: o
Must love dogs, and other animals
Must
have a valid driver’s licenseo
Good,
safe driver who is confident pulling a trailer (Experience in
towing a trailer essential)o
Must
have own, reliable vehicle to get to/from worko
Transportation to and from work is at
the cost of the employeeso
Must have own, reliable mobile phoneo
Must be comfortable working with cats
too Main Responsibilities:o
Driving company vehicle with trailero
Connect and disconnect all equipment
from power source and water sourceo
Receive pets from the client and find
out what grooming specifications areo
Assist groomer with brushing,
washing, and drying petso
Assist groomer with cleaning of pet’s
ears, teeth and eyeso
Assist groomer with any of his/her
other responsibilities other than groomingo
Remove all hair from client’s
pavement and drivewayo
Hang out towels to dry / take towels
for dry cleaning Personal attributeso
Good communication skills (verbal and
written)o
Professional
and polite with clientso
Friendly personality, hardworking (no
laziness), and willingness to grow and learno
Reliable, responsible, and responsiveo
Punctual and honesto
Flexible, as working hours may vary Highly beneficial:
Experience
working in the pet grooming industry o
Candidates who reside in Durbanville
or surrounds are preferred o
Experience in towing a trailer

Monday – Friday = 07:00 – 16:30 o
Saturday (on demand) = 07:00 – 16h30 Salary, dependent on experience: Market related plus commission
