Job Requirements:Dispatch & Receiving:Check that all stock invoiced is picked and placed at the loading area.Follow the FIFO principal (First In, First Out) when picking stock.Ensure that picked stock is packed within the Company requirements at the loading area to maintain the integrity of the stock.Check the condition of the stock at the point of loading to ensure it is correctly labelled and not damaged.Ensure that stock is loaded neatly and within loading procedures.All stock received to be checked to ensure it is correct and not damaged.Ensure stock received is placed in the correctly demarcated area.Report any damages to stock to management.Assist forklift driver when necessary.Assist with repacks when necessary.Assist with stocktakes when needed.Assist with driver duties:Load and deliver customer orders daily as per the delivery schedule for the PE / GQ and surrounding areas.Check and ensure correct quantities are delivered to customers.Check and ensure correct quantities are collected from suppliers.Ensure delivery / collection documents are completed accurately for finance purposes.Ensure vehicle is neatly packed to prevent damages and breakages.Do daily vehicle checks and report any mechanical defects / unroadworthy issues immediately.Ensurethe delivery vehicle is always clean. Liaise with customer / suppliers professionally and ensure trips are planned prior to departure from the office.Health & Safety:Follow all Health & Safety requirements.Report any spillages of products.Ensure no emergency exists are blocked.Ensure good housekeeping is maintained in the Warehouse, as well as yard.Ensure that stock is packed within Health and Safety requirements.Minimum Requirements:Grade 122 3 Years similar experience in a Warehouse.Valid Code 10 drivers license, valid PDP, and HAZCHEM.Hyster License.Ability to communicate professionally in business English.Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.Key Competencies:Strong planning and organizational skills.Accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to work well independently, as well as in a team.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Sound understanding of warehouse processes and safety practices.Behavioural Attributes:Proactive and self-driven.Responsible and accountable.Team-orientated.Quality- and safety-conscious.
