Key Responsibilities
Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic faults.

Source and purchase truck, plant and workshop parts.
Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing with suppliers.
Issue purchase orders and follow up on deliveries.
Maintain accurate workshop inventory and stock levels.
Receive and inspect deliveries.
Assist with workshop administration and filing.
Update maintenance records and job cards.
Coordinate with mechanics to ensure parts are available before repairs.
Arrange collections and deliveries from suppliers when required.
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Ensure workshop consumables are always adequately stocked.
Assist with warranty claims and returns where applicable.
Minimum Requirements
2+ years' experience in a buying, stores, workshop or procurement role.
Experience purchasing truck or commercial vehicle parts will be an advantage.
Strong computer skills (Excel and Outlook essential).
Good organisational and administrative skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Valid driver's licence.
Honest, reliable and detail-oriented.
Preferred Experience
Knowledge of Mercedes-Benz, Isuzu, Fuso, UD, Hino or other heavy commercial vehicle parts.
Experience using inventory or maintenance management systems.
Knowledge of workshop operations and mechanical components.
