Description
Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and customise Archibus modules using JavaScript, SQL, and Archibus API tools.
  • Create new functionality, automate workflows, and integrate Archibus with third-party systems (e.g., HR, Finance, BIM, CAFM).
  • Configure and maintain Archibus Web Central, Smart Client, and mobile solutions.
  • Build and optimise reports and dashboards using Archibus analytics and reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and end-users to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Perform system upgrades, patching, and technical documentation.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and support system stability and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with coding, data security, and governance standards.
Minimum Technical Skills and Qualifications:
  • Diploma or higher qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (NQF Level 6).
  • Archibus-related certification.
  • 6 10+ years of experience with knowledge of the South African government Real Estate industry and policies, and in-depth knowledge of Archibus.
Essential Skills required:
  • Must have a strong object-oriented programming background, in-depth knowledge of databases, client-side design and development, API design, technical design, and implementation of major new features.
