The company provides ongoing professional development and exposure to emerging backup, recovery, and cloud technologies.Key Responsibilities:Design and manage enterprise-level backup and recovery strategies.Implement and maintain Microsoft Failover Clusters and Hyper-V environments.Administer and optimize SAN and NAS storage solutions.Monitor and troubleshoot backup jobs, ensuring data integrity and compliance.Conduct regular disaster recovery testing and maintain accurate documentation.Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure backup coverage.Provide technical guidance and support on all backup-related issues.Job Experience and Skills Required:Education: Relevant IT qualification or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience: Proven background in enterprise backup and recovery engineering.Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft clustering technologies (Failover Clustering, and Hyper-V).Experience with SAN/NAS storage management.Hands-on knowledge of at least one mainstream backup software (Veeam, Commvault, Veritas NetBackup, Acronis, or Rubrik).Familiarity with disaster recovery planning and execution.Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.Preferred: Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Veeam VMCE, or Commvault Certified Professional.Additional Advantage: Experience with cloud-based backup (Azure/AWS) and scripting (PowerShell and Bash).Apply now!
