Ruby Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable code using Ruby on Rails
• Develop and maintain deployment and operational systems on AWS
• Contribute to mobile app development using React Native for cross-platform compatibility
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs
• Collaborate with product teams to define and ship new features
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them to operations

Job Experience and Skills Required
Education:

• Relevant diploma or degree in Computer Science or Software Development

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Ruby on Rails and common libraries (Devise, Omniauth, Rspec)
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, Aurora Postgres, etc.)
• Familiarity with front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React or React Native)

Preferred:

• Experience with React Native (advantageous)
• Knowledge or interest in the cycling industry and bike security

Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
