Intermediate Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Intermediate Project Manager to join our Cape Town-based consulting team on a long-term contract running until August 2026. The ideal person will have strong experience managing development and technology projects, working closely with software engineering teams, and operating within a Scrum or Agile delivery environment.

We’re seeking someone who can hit the ground running, ideally available immediately or soonest, and who is confident engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the business.

What you'll do:

• Manage end-to-end delivery of technology and software development projects.
• Work closely with development teams to plan, prioritise, and deliver project milestones.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support best-practice Scrum delivery.
• Ensure project timelines, scope, and expectations are clearly defined and met.
• Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
• Maintain strong communication with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership.
• Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and status updates.
• Foster collaboration and alignment across cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within project delivery processes.

Your Expertise:

• 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager within technology or development environments.
• Proven experience working on software development / tech projects.
• Strong experience working directly with development teams.
• Solid background delivering projects in a Scrum or Agile environment.
• Relevant qualifications such as Scrum Master, Agile, PMP, Prince2, or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem solving.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.
• Immediate or soonest availability preferred.
