Front-End Developer (Angular)

As part of a major systems-renewal initiative, you will play a key role in modernising and enhancing legacy systems while helping to design and develop next-generation enterprise and client-facing applications. This role is ideal for a Developer who is passionate about building intuitive user interfaces and delivering seamless user experiences across web and mobile platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and test user interfaces for web and mobile applications
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Translate business and user requirements into functional frontend solutions
• Work independently and collaboratively to deliver front-end features from concept to implementation
• Write high-quality, well-documented, and efficient code aligned with development standards
• Collaborate closely with back-end developers to ensure smooth RESTful API integration
• Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain existing applications and provide technical support when required
• Provide accurate work estimates and ensure that features are delivered on schedule
• Create and maintain software design and architecture documentation

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong experience with Angular (version 7 or higher)
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs
• Ability to build reusable, modular, and testable Angular components and modules
• Solid understanding of modern frontend development practices
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Advantageous Experience:

• Mobile development experience
• Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Exposure to Java development
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Experience with development tools, such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, Flyway, and Jira

Candidate Profile:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
• Innovative and creative thinker with strong user empathy and passion for UI/UX
• Passion for staying up to date with modern front-end technologies and standards
• Proven track record of delivering solutions independently and within a team
• Experience within a healthcare environment will be advantageous
