Application Development Lead (DevOps)

Our client is on an exciting journey to modernize its application landscape by leveraging Azure and AWS cloud technologies to create digital channels that enhance engagement with customers and partners. To achieve this, we are building a modern DevOps practice centered on Agile methodology and .NET technologies.
We are seeking an Application Development Lead who will manage and guide multiple squads within our DevOps team. This role is critical to ensuring delivery excellence and driving demonstrable value from our new agile-based teams.

What you'll do:

• Lead and coordinate agile DevOps squads to ensure efficient delivery and productivity.
• Drive focus and streamline work management to get delivery back on track.
• Engage with business teams and leadership during PI planning and requirement gathering.
• Collaborate with the IT Digital Engagement team to integrate new requirements.
• Oversee transition of completed work into support.
• Optimize team efficiency by minimizing unnecessary meetings and maximizing coding time.
• Ensure quality assurance and testing standards are met.
• Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress and risks.

Your Expertise:

• Proven experience in leading development projects in an enterprise environment.
• Strong background in Agile, DevOps practices, and CI/CD.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage integration challenges between SAP and other enterprise applications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Degree in IT or related field.
