In order to be considered the following is required:

  • Grade 12
  • Prior experience in cold calling or telesales is highly valuable
  • Computer literate

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Use various tools and platforms to research and identify potential customers
  • Develop strategies to create a consistent pipeline of new leads through online research, networking, social media and marketing campaigns
  • Assess the quality of leads based on specific criteria (e.g. budget, need, timeline) to ensure they align with the business goals
  • Regularly update and manage lead information, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data
  • Reach out to potential leads via phone or email to introduce products or services and engage in initial conversations
  • Build relationships with leads by providing valuable information, answering questions and maintaining regular follow-ups
  • Work closely with the sales team to hand off qualified leads and provide all necessary information for closing deals
  • Provide regular reports on lead generation progress, including lead volume, conversion rates and insights into areas for improvement
