Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
• At least 3 years of work experience in direct marketing (marketing within the financial services sector will be an added advantage).
• Tertiary qualification in Marketing.
• Minimum 2 years of direct sales experience.
• Sales within the financial services sector will be an added advantage (attach proof of sales results for the past 2 years and must be verifiable).

Responsibilities:

• Source new clients by means of one-to-one marketing.
• Create brand awareness.
• Meet monthly targets.
• Host promotional events.
• Support the marketing manager in delivering agreed activities.
• Complete all relevant administrative tasks.
• Weekly feedback to management.

The position requires the following:

• Must be able to work in Port Elizabeth and must be familiar with the Port Elizabeth community.
• Existing network of contacts will be advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good administrative skills.
• Must be fluent in Afrikaans and English.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to a high standard of work.
• Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to plan effectively with operational thoroughness.
• Maintaining and communicating weekly planner and daily activities completed and outcome and/or actions to follow up on.
• Computer literate.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable own vehicle.
• Own cellphone.
• Must be available after office hours, weekends and public holidays for promotional work when required.
• Must be able to travel.
