Senior Kitchen Head position.
Requirements:
Daily smooth running of kitchen
Stock control and counting
Over seeing other kitchen staff
Ensuring orders prepared and send in time frame.
Presentable with previous senior kitchen experience atleast 1 year.
Non smoker and drinker preferable.
Assist in new menu ideas
Kitchen weekly costings
Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
Uphold strong discipline & disciplinary procedures.
Assist with stock ordering.
Implement new ideas etc to ensure smooth operation.
Staff rosters.
Small to medium size kitchen with only 10 staff members.
Available to start asap.

Be able to work to a high standard, under pressure. Follow the guidance of the Sous Chef and Head Chef in the preparation and presentation of dishes. Abide by and enforce health codes and cleanliness standards in the kitchen and food storage areas.Train and supervise junior chefs, including in best practices, safety, and cleanliness standards.Check for plating accuracy (garnish, portion size, correct serving dish, etc.)Anticipate and communicate shortages to the Head Chef. Formal training in the Culinary Arts; certificate of completion from a Chef School.
