We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Paint Mixer with strong sales ability to join our team. This role combines accurate paint mixing with active customer engagement, product advice, and driving sales in the paint department.

Working Conditions
The sales / paint mixer is responsible for accurately mixing and tinting paint using tinting equipment while ensuring colour consistency and quality. Provide strong customer service and sales drive by assisting with product selection, offering application advice, and recommending complementary items.
Maintain stock levels, merchandising standards, and proper stock rotation. Keep tinting equipment clean, calibrated, and in good working order. Adhere to all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean work area. Complete required records and process orders correctly through the POS system.
In addition to this, the sales assistant must also ensure that customer service standards on the sales floor and at the till points are maintained. This can be rather stressful and general sales assistants must be able to work under these stressful conditions while still exhibiting attention to detail and accuracy.

A leading retailer is seeking a Regional Buyer to take ownership of optimised stock availability and service delivery across multiple retail locations in the Inland Region. The role is responsible for driving inventory efficiency through disciplined stock management and the effective use of technology, including Netstock, to enhance operational performance. The successful candidate will minimise funds employed while maximising commercial results by ensuring the right products are available in the right quantities, at the right time, to support sales, availability, and customer demand. DUTIES:Forecasting and Stock Planning Analyse and amend branch forecasts using NetstockManage stock classification by locationLiaise with Branch ManagerManage branch fill ratesManage branch potential out of stocksManage branch out of stocksManage branch surplus ordersManage branch excess stocksManaged branch aged stocks Procurement Process branch stock orders using a predetermined schedule. From external Vendors and bulk stores/branches in accordance with organisation policy and procedure by using the systems and software available i.e. Netstock and AxaptaEnsure that branch management vets and e-mails purchase orders created dailyProvide feedback to, the branches on Open Orders with accurate ETAs to branchesForecasting stock levels and procurement of promotionalArranging return of goods in line with the supplier agreementsLiaise with Category Managers where applicable on the introduction of new products and stock levels of existing productsHousekeeping – manage open Purchase Orders & Transfer Orders Management of Vendor/ Supplier Relationships Send Open Purchase Order reports for confirmation of ETAsActively monitor suppliers to ensure service compliance in terms of agreements.Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries and deal with other problems.Refer concerns of vendor performance and quality of product to procurement managerMonitor and manage supplier delivery charges where applicable Stock Holding Management Continuously monitor stock levels for fast, slow, seasonal and buyout inventory to ensure all stock is maintained at optimum levels.Enforce policy around Buy-Out products.Maintain and manage stock holding levelsLiaise with branch to ensure the clearance of slow-moving and discontinued stock items and the reduction of stock levels towards the end of product life-cycles.
