Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly qualified Professional Cath Lab Registered Nurse who will be responsible for providing individualised, holistic, and person-centred nursing care to patients and their families. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, using scientifically based nursing theories and processes to ensure optimal patient care in the Cath Lab.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a clinical resource to assist personnel in assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care in the unit.Ensure communication and interaction with family and health professionals regarding optimal patient care, acting as a patient advocate when necessary.Assess, plan, and implement advanced nursing care in a specialized field in accordance with standard nursing care procedures, as set out in the standards and SOPs, as well as nursing care theory and medical direction.Participate as a professional member of the multidisciplinary team in evaluating, developing, and implementing health care plans and treatment regimes.Evaluate patients care needs; initiate individualised nursing care plans; co-ordinate patient services.Prepare day/night shift documentation that reflects patient status, patient/staff ratio and problems.Communicate with the unit manager to keep them informed of activities and problems.
Skills and Qualifications:
Registered as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council.At least 2 years’ experience in Cath Lab.Relevant experience in the nursing discipline.Thorough knowledge of general/specialized nursing theory and practice.Professional flexibility in working hours, including night duty and weekend shifts.Capacity to implement and maintain standards of health practice required from all accredited bodies and appropriate health legislation.Ability to work effectively and co-operatively with others to establish and maintain good working relationships that are mutually beneficial.Ability to maintain and encourage effective communication and interaction within the unit, other members of the multidisciplinary team, and the public.Active involvement in own professional development to maintain a satisfactory level of skill and knowledge.

Your Mission:

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors Degree or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science or Engineering with a minimum of 3 years experience in a software development role.In the event that a candidate does not have a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma (in Computer Science or Engineering), an equivalent experience requirement must be met, which equates to a minimum of 6 years experience in a software development role.At least 2 years of which should include professional experience in native Android (preferably using Android Studio).Full understanding of the Android application and activity lifecycles.Appreciation of Android-specific asynchronous processing techniques.Appreciation of Android user experience design patterns.Knowledge of strategies to handle issues related to platform fragmentation, differing screen sizes and multiple OS versions preferred.Experience working with unit test frameworks (MockK, Robolectric, etc.) preferred.Experience with network requests to RESTful APIs using best practice and well-known libraries (Retrofit, etc.) preferred.Experience working with software development tools including Git, Jira and Notion preferred.Experience with writing UI Automation scripts using Appium (optional).Experience developing location-based apps with high availability requirements would be advantageous.Experience with Firebase products (Analytics, Crashlytics, Firestore, Remote Config, etc.) would be advantageous
