About the RoleWe are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Sales Technician to join a dynamic retail team for our client in Paarl. This position combines in-person retail sales with technical support responsibilities. You will assist customers with product selection, handle point-of-sale transactions, and provide support for a range of consumer electronics and IT products. Key Responsibilities- Greet customers in-store, understand their needs, and provide knowledgeable product recommendations (computers, printers, accessories, etc.).- Demonstrate and explain product features and benefits.- Assist with device setup, troubleshooting, and basic technical support for customers.- Process sales transactions (cash, card, POS systems) accurately and efficiently.- Maintain stock displays, ensure shelves are tidy, and manage inventory levels.- Provide after-sales support, assist with returns, and resolve basic customer issues.- Stay updated on the latest technology trends and product offerings. Minimum Requirements- Matric/Grade 12 certificate.- At least 1 year of in-person experience in a retail sales, customer service, or related environment.- Direct experience with IT products (such as computers, peripherals, or related technology) is essential.- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.- Basic technical aptitude and willingness to learn about new tech products.
