The successful incumbent will take responsibility for the effective sourcing, procuring, selling and delivering of designated fruit to clients.Key Performance Areas:Procure and sell designated fruitArrange shipment of ordersFind and exploit trading opportunities and grow client baseIdentify, assess, and manage risksInitiate claims processesExchange information and work with other Accounts ExecutivesBuild and maintain supplier / client relationshipsAchieve sales budget and gross margin objectivesAttend meetings and report as requiredRequirements:Relevant tertiary qualification (diploma or degree)1-3 years’ experience in procurement and trading of fruitWorking knowledge of relevant fruit marketsWell-developed interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with role playersAbility to closely follow policies and proceduresNegotiation skills and ability to deal with conflictWillingness to travel locally and internationallyGood computer skills (MS Office suite and shipping programs such as QX)Driver’s licence and own transportThe company offers market related remuneration and benefits, based on the successful applicant’s experience and qualifications.
