? Honesty and Balancing - Balance to tender types R100–00 short or over will be deemed as acceptable. In a calendar month, however continued short/over could also result in corrective action and a hearing being called. A short is just as bad as an over.
? Lost credit cards will also be deemed as a loss. If shortage is more than R100–00, a hearing will be called.

Working Conditions:
The cashier is responsible for ensuring that all transactions are processed through the POS system accurately and quickly and therefore has a responsibility to take precautions regarding the cash and stock as well as ensure customer service standards are maintained. This can be rather stressful, and cashiers must be able to work under these stressful conditions while still exhibiting attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualifications:
The individual filling this position should at least have passed Matric (or equivalent) and have a valid Matric / qualification certificate as well as previous Cashiering experience.
