Role Overview
A senior executive leadership role responsible for overseeing financial
strategy, governance, and performance within a leading cargo and logistics
operation. The role requires a commercially astute finance leader with deep
industry experience and a proven record in driving profitability, managing
complex financial operations, and delivering strategic insights in a
fast-paced, regulated sector.
Minimum Experience (Must have logistics/cargo/freight/transport background)
· 5+ years industry-related experience within cargo, freight, or transport
· 10+ years proven work experience as a Financial Manager or similar role
· 10+ years in a management capacity within a finance department
Minimum Qualifications
· Chartered Accountant (CA)
· Financial Accountant Certification
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (NQF Level 7)
Functional & Regulated Training
· SAGE system proficiency
· Strong knowledge of IFRS/IAS, VAT, and tax compliance
Environmental / Other Conditions
