Duties: Scan assigned areas continuously, maintaining alertness to identify potential dangers, distress, or drowning incidents.Activate Emergency Action Plans (EAP), perform water rescues, and administer CPR, AED, and first aid.Communicate and enforce safety policies and regulations to patrons in a professional manner.Inspect pool areas, check chemical levels, maintain safety equipment, and ensure a clean, orderly environment.Identify and address risks such as slippery surfaces, broken equipment, or dangerous water conditions. Requirements: Red Cross Lifeguard (or equivalent), CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, and First Aid.Ability to swim proficiently, tread water, lift at least 50 lbs, and remain alert for long periods.Critical thinking, quick decision-making under pressure, and effective communication skills.
