Duties and ResponsibilitiesLead and manage multiple engineering projects simultaneouslyDesign, analyse, and review technical process flow diagrams based on approved project proposalsAccurately capture client requirements and translate them into clear project specificationsCompile detailed equipment lists from project proposals and process flow diagramsProvide technical input during plant layout development and detailed design phasesMonitor project progress and compile regular progress and status reportsEnsure all project documentation is accurately maintained and controlledDocument, track, and follow up on key actions and decisions from meetingsOrganise, attend, and participate in internal and external stakeholder meetingsReview commercial documentation including proposals, quotations, and contracts, and compile technical summariesPrepare collection notes and customs documentation for equipment shipmentsCoordinate internal departments to ensure alignment with customer and project requirementsIdentify project risks and issues and implement appropriate mitigation measuresMaintain and monitor project plans, schedules, work hours, budgets, and expendituresQualifications and ExperienceMinimum Qualification Requirements:BTech Mechanical Engineering or BEng Mechanical Engineering or BSc Mechanical EngineeringORBTech Project Management with strong technical engineering capabilityExperience:Experience within a machinery manufacturing or industrial equipment environmentExposure to engineering-driven projects involving design, fabrication, and installationKey Skills and CompetenciesStrong verbal, written, and presentation communication skillsHigh level of computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, Visio, and MS ProjectWorking knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD is advantageousExperience using Jira Atlassian tools is advantageousStrong organisational, planning, and time management skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsHigh attention to detail and strong documentation control skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesComfortable managing multiple projects in a technical environmentProfessional discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality https://www.executiveplacements.com/Jobs/P/Project-Engineer-Mechanical-1262217-Job-Search-03-20-2026-00-00-00-AM.asp?sid=gumtree
