Large, well established and very profitable Group is seeking a sales orientated General Manager for one of their businesses to oversee all business activities relating to sales and after-sales, parts planning and distribution in South Africa as well as managing neighbouring and Sub-Saharan countries. This role includes all organisational matters including the effective management of staff. Skills, Knowledge, experience and talents required for this role:10+ years experience in operation/fabrication/production and proven record leading project teams.Strong people management and coaching skills.Excellent communication skills.MS Office proficient (STRUMIS and added advantage).Key Responsibilities Lead full project handover, planning and scheduling.Deliver projects on time, within budget and to required quality standards.Manage scope, variations, risks, delays and contractual notifications.Control project costs, budgets, invoicing and supplier validation.Maintain strong client relationships and communication throughout the project lifecycleDrive safety, quality and compliance across all project activities.Lead and support project teams, including performance management and development.Ensure accurate documentation and reporting using ERP systems (STRUMIS).
