Salary: R12 000 - R20 000 depending on experience with lucrative commission structure, senior candidates to apply on higher brackets.


Role Overview

We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Solutions Consultant to sell and design technology-based solutions for business clients. This is a target-driven sales role focused on generating gross profit through hardware, connectivity, power and business technology solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for new business development, client relationship management, solution design, and closing sales across multiple product categories.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities in the SME and corporate market.
Conduct needs analysis and propose appropriate technology solutions.
Sell a range of products and services including:
Power and generator solutions
WiFi, CCTV and GSM boosters
Printers and copiers
Telephony hardware
Connectivity and voice solutions
Smart business cards
Prepare and present quotations and proposals.
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
Maintain relationships with existing clients and drive repeat business.
Work towards monthly gross profit targets.
Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline.
Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure successful delivery.
Stay informed on product offerings and market trends.

Minimum Requirements
Proven experience in B2B technology or solutions sales.
Exposure to selling IT hardware, power solutions, connectivity or office automation products.
Strong negotiation and closing ability.
Self-motivated and target driven.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage a sales pipeline independently.
Valid drivers licence and own transport (advantageous, if applicable).
Matric essential; relevant sales or technical qualification advantageous.

Remuneration & Incentives
Cost to Company: R15,000 per month
Includes basic salary and employer statutory contributions.
6% pension contribution after completion of probation.
PAYE and UIF deducted from CTC and commission where applicable.

Sales Targets
Monthly Gross Profit Target: R60,000 GP

Commission Structure
Commission is paid on gross profit after the sales gate is achieved.

Sales Gate Formula:
GP achieved Monthly CTC = Commissionable GP
Commissionable GP × 40% = Commission (before deductions)

Product Commission Rates:
Smart Business Cards 10% of selling price
WiFi, CCTV & GSM Boosters 40% GP
