Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimise VMware virtual infrastructure environments
• Oversee enterprise backup solutions using Veeam Backup & Replication
• Administer and maintain server hardware and storage infrastructure
• Lead infrastructure-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage third-party vendors and service providers
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with safety standards

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Information Systems or equivalent

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years experience as a Systems Administrator (Windows Server)
• Minimum 10 years experience managing VMware environments
• Minimum 10 years experience with Veeam backup solutions
• Minimum 10 years experience with IBM storage systems

Skills & Certifications:

• MCSA/MCSE (Windows Server) mandatory
• MCITP Enterprise Administrator essential
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification
• IBM Certified Specialist (System X, Storage, Tape, Fibre)
• Veeam Certified Backup Specialist
• Strong knowledge of virtualization, storage, and backup infrastructure

Additional Requirements:

• Valid drivers license and own reliable transport
• Willingness to travel as required
• Availability for after-hours support, standby, and weekend work
