A leading financial services organization is seeking a Senior Software Developer / Tech Lead to design and develop transactional websites, line-of-business systems, and digital solutions that enhance client journeys. This hybrid role, based in Waterfall, Johannesburg, offers the opportunity to lead architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and deliver innovative technology solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead system architecture and technical design decisions
• Define and enforce coding standards and best practices

Job Experience and Skills Required
Education:

• BCom / BSc degree or equivalent qualification

Experience:

• Minimum 7 years in software development
• Previous experience as a Tech Lead
• Agile / Scrum experience

Technical Skills:

• C# .NET and ASP.NET (Web Forms / MVC 2.0+)
• ASP.NET Core (Web API, Windows Services)
• SQL Server 2012+
• HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
• Modern JavaScript libraries (Angular, KnockoutJS, JQuery, etc.)
• CI/CD pipelines and cloud PaaS consumption
• REST services
• Kubernetes / Docker
• Architectural background with hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP advantageous)
• Cross-platform frameworks (Flutter or React Native advantageous)
