This role is based in KZN and is suited to highly driven field sales professionals with proven experience acquiring merchants and driving transaction usage within fintech, payments, or financial service ecosystems.
This is a hands-on, field-based contract role focused on merchant acquisition and payment adoption.

Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, engage, and sign up new merchants within community ecosystems (schools, churches, sports clubs, and local organisations)
- Conduct face-to-face sales and onboarding within township, SME, and informal market environments
- Drive active usage and transaction growth among newly onboarded merchants
- Convert leads and dormant opportunities into active merchants
Applications will only be considered if candidates meet the following:
- Proven field sales or merchant acquisition experience within fintech, payments, financial services, or digital commerce ecosystems
- Demonstrated success signing up SMEs or merchants and driving platform adoption
- Strong target-driven sales track record
- Experience engaging with SMEs, merchants, or community organisations
- Fluency in English and at least one additional South African language (isiXhosa advantageous)
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle
- Willingness to work primarily in the field
- Highly motivated sales hunter who thrives on meeting targets
- Confident building relationships with community leaders and local businesses
- Able to work independently with strong ownership for results

The role of credit controller is key to our success and growth plans as the role directly aids our corporate cashflow.
