Job Title: Junior Web Developer
Employment Type: Full-time
Location: Tygervalley, Cape Town
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Web Developer to join a digital marketing agency, supporting the development and maintenance of websites using WordPress and Elementor within a fastpaced, results-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and maintain websites using WordPress and Elementor
- Build and refine website layouts based on project briefs and brand guidelines
- Ensure websites are responsive, visually engaging, and performance-focused
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver projects on time and to specification
- Communicate professionally with clients and respond to feedback efficiently
- Identify and resolve basic website issues and conduct quality checks
- Follow established processes and best practices
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Proven experience with WordPress and Elementor
- High attention to detail with a strong eye for design and layout
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Well-organised, process-driven, and dependable
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in a relevant field is advantageous but not essential
- Minimum 2 years experience in a web development role
- Experience using web development tools and platforms
- Previous marketing agency experience preferred
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment
