Experience required3-5 Years Sales experience in the medical IVD field is essential1-2 Years Laboratory working experience is requiredManagement and prior experience of daily sales operations: visit planning, funnel management & forecasting mandatoryKnowledge of key account procurement cycles is preferredExperience with Tenders will be beneficialAreas of Responsibility:Scheduling appointments with new and existing clientsWorking through client requirements and providing accurate and relevant advice on products neededPromoting range of Instruments, Consumables, Equipment, Reagents and ChemicalsQuoting clients on products neededProving client with accurate and constant feedbackFollowing up on open quotations and updating the CRM with potential opportunitiesEnsuring that the CRM is regularly updatedMeeting realistic targets set by the CompanyProvide feedback in weekly meetingsAssisting with Tenders and RFQs and handing in on timeKey Areas:Maintaining professional & technical knowledge(Such as product features, technical specifications, benefits, and potential applications within the medical field) by attending educational workshops & conferencesProduct demonstrationsConduct demonstrations of medical equipment for potential clients, healthcare institutions, or at trade shows and conferencesTailor demonstrations to the specific needs of healthcare professionals, showcasing the products value and performance in a real-world medical environmentProduct feedback & improvementGather feedback from healthcare providers regarding the performance of equipment, any challenges faced, and any improvements neededRelay this feedback to management to help improve the products and address any issues or limitationsQualificationsA Grade 12 (matric) or equal qualification is a minimum requirementTertiary qualification in related field advantageousRequirements:Management of a sales funnel mandatoryStrong IT knowledge and experience will be advantageousExperience with tenders will be beneficialA valid drivers license with own reliable transport is a pre-requisiteMust be available to travel both nationally & internationally as and when required
