Description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing customers, providing ongoing support and guidance
  • Conduct regular visits to distributors and installers to ensure that service levels are met
  • Ensure brand representation at reseller outlets (distributor audits, displays, and marketing materials)
  • Identify and visit commercial sites (complexes, office parks, and business developments) to present access control solutions
  • Achieve monthly branch sales targets
  • Submit structured call reports and feedback to the Branch Manager
  • Promote and present training courses and product presentations
  • Provide market feedback on competitors, pricing trends, and new products
  • Address product-related queries and ensure appropriate internal follow-up
  • Generate and research new leads, making successful contact with prospective customers
  • Stay up to date with new and existing product ranges
  • Assist with internal sales support, including order processing and handling customer queries
  • Ensure accurate and updated customer information on the company database
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to strong inter-departmental communication
  • Support ad hoc duties such as stock take, deliveries, or occasional technical site visits
  • Plan and coordinate distributor and area sales strategies to drive business development

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • Basic knowledge or understanding of electronic and/or mechanical equipment
  • 12 years experience in a technical sales environment
  • Reliable and dependable
