Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Matric (Essential)
- Degree in Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (Advantageous)
Experience
- 35 years proven experience in Business Development / Sales
- Strong background in Road Freight, Courier, and Logistics
- Demonstrated experience in both hunting and farming sales
- Ability to develop pricing models and present to senior leadership
Technical Skills
- Microsoft Office
- Excel (Intermediate)
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business development through cold calling, email campaigns, and proactive market prospecting
- Build sustainable relationships with potential and existing clients
- Design and develop accurate pricing models, forecasts, and commercial proposals
- Conduct needs analysis and qualify clients based on operational and commercial requirements
- Engage effectively with C-suite executives and decision-makers
- Attend industry events, expos, and logistics conferences to grow the companys footprint
- Lead strategic client meetings and professional presentations
- Manage key accounts: retention, support, upselling, and relationship depth
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
