Sales Representative 

Description:

This role is ideal for a self-driven sales professional who enjoys being on the road, building relationships with retail customers, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding market presence, increasing product listings, and ensuring exceptional customer service to existing and prospective retail partners.

Requirements:

• Minimum 23 years external sales experience.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience selling into retail stores, pharmacies, gift shops, outdoor stores, fuel stations, hardware stores, or similar retail channels will be advantageous.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout Cape Town and the West Coast, including occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of retail customers.
• Identify and secure new retail stockists within the Cape Town and West Coast regions.
• Conduct regular customer visits and maintain strong client relationships.
• Present and sell the company's range of products
• Ensure customers are adequately stocked and merchandising standards are maintained.
• Introduce new product ranges and promotional offerings to customers.
• Negotiate and close sales opportunities.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales reports.
• Handle customer queries and provide excellent after-sales service.
• Represent the brand professionally and positively at all times.
