DUTIES
Salary negotiable dependent on experience, excluding bonuses

- Matric, or relevant qualification
- Proven experience in outbound sales, ideally within the sheet timber supplies, machinery or manufacturing industries
- Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle (essential)
- Strong technical knowledge of wood types, applications and processing
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Background in Industrial Sales, Wood Technology, Manufacturing or related fields
- Knowledge of the footwear manufacturing process and machinery is an advantage
DUTIES
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in the footwear, furniture and timber-related sectors
- Achieve agreed sales targets
- Promote and sell sheet timber supplies
- Identify new business opportunities and grow the companys customer base
- Conduct regular site and customer visits
- Provide technical advice and product recommendations based on customer needs
- Prepare quotations, follow up on leads and negotiate sales terms
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity and product developments
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery
