Description
A leading global creative group based in Cape Town is looking for a Junior Accountant to support our Finance team and agency partners. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and smooth day-to-day accounting operations across the group.
You’ll work closely with the Senior Accountant and engage with stakeholders across the business to help keep the financial engine running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
Financial (80%)
Ensure transactions are technically compliant and aligned with group policies
Prepare month-end reports, including:
Bank, intercompany & balance sheet reconciliations
Prepayments and accruals schedules
Fixed asset register updates & journals
General ledger reviews and postings
Assist with:
Monthly management accounts
Budget analysis
BAS, Payroll Tax & FBT submissions
Handle intercompany invoicing and reconciliations
Support Group (M+C Plc) reporting requests
Ad hoc finance support to the Senior Accountant
Systems & Processes (15%)
Assist with process documentation
Suggest improvements to increase efficiency
People (5%)
