The Role: Business Development Representative
This is a hunter role focused on generating new business and expanding existing client accounts to drive revenue growth. You will secure job specifications for the 360-recruitment delivery team, combining outbound prospecting with strategic relationship management. The position is ideal for a resilient and driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Minimum 3 years' experience in business development or B2B sales required
- Identify and engage new client prospects across various industries
- Conduct high-volume outbound sales: 100+ calls/day, LinkedIn, and email outreach
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline aligned to revenue goals
- Book client meetings and obtain verified job specifications
- Expand existing accounts by identifying new vacancies and upsell opportunities
- Ensure warm/hot inbound leads are contacted within 1 hour
- Log and track activity, leads, and outcomes in CRM/ATS
- Meet KPIs: 20 handovers/month, 5 transacting clients/month, 500 calls or 10 hours/week
About You
- 3+ years experience in business development or sales (preferably B2B services)
- Proven success in winning new business and meeting targets
- Confident with high call volumes and outbound prospecting
- Strong communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills
- Familiar with CRM and ATS systems
- Highly self-motivated, competitive, and performance-driven
- Resilient, persuasive, and commercially aware
- Organised and pipeline-focused with a strong follow-through
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on growth and earnings
