Minimum Requirements Qualifications And Skills
- Minimum Grade 12 Certificate; Formal qualifications in Key Account Management, Business, or Finance will be viewed favourably, reflecting the commercial scope and analytical nature of this role.
- 3 5 years experience in Key Account Management, preferably within the animal health, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industry
- Must have a valid drivers license and willingness to travel often extensively within South Africa
- Thrive on creating customer partnerships, delivering results, and making an impact
- No Criminal record
Duties:
- The Key Account Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic account plans that drive growth, strengthen partnerships, and deliver value to our key customers across South Africa.
- This role plays a critical part in achieving commercial objectives by identifying opportunities, negotiating solutions, and ensuring the successful implementation of business initiatives that support the portfolio.
The role will require:
ü Understanding of the companion animal industry, trends and landscape
ü A proven delivery of sales results and customer satisfaction
ü Experience with developing and adapting strategic account plans based on in-depth understanding of customers needs
ü The ability to maintain a high level of expertise with the evolving portfolio of products, services, pricing and competition
ü Work in close collaboration with key stakeholders and resources to deliver on strategic plans to the customer
ü The ability to work in a matrix organization and coordinate resources/requirements effectively
ü Analytical thinking, to be able to make robust decisions using sound interpretation of data, information and processes
