Industrial Projects Operations Manager

My client from a freight forwarding company is seeking an Industrial Projects Operations Manager to join their team

Participate in customer solutions development and implementation of new accounts
Ensure IP is optimally resourced to meet service standards
Visit customers to maintain customer relationships
Maintain relationships with suppliers and manage supplier performance
Monitor the IP, customer and shipment profitability
Oversee and assist with estimates and RFQs / tenders
Ensure timely processing of invoices
Ensure continuous improvement by implementing First Choice, Station Improvements and adherence to quality policies
Produce weekly, monthly reports and other ad-hoc reports as maybe required by management
Develop KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance
Manage the allocation of appropriate resources
Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department

Requirements
Proven Industrial Projects Operations Expertise
Degree in business Management or a related field
Minimum 5 years experience managing operations in Industrial Projects environment with strong understanding of IP Processes and compliance requirements
3 years commercial/key account management experience
Strong Leadership & People Development Skills
Great negotiator and proven business wins
Financial and Commercial Acumen
Excellent Planning, Organizing & Project Management Skills
Used to work in a multinational environment and in a large corporation
Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving Capability
Effective Stakeholder Management
