As the Sales Support Administrator, you will act as the backbone of the sales department, ensuring the team has accurate data, documentation, and administrative support to focus on sales execution and client engagement.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years in a commercial or sales support role within the freight forwarding / customs clearing industry
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain operations
  • Education: Matric (Grade 12) minimum
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and qualify leads; assign qualified opportunities to sales via CRM
  • Maintain CRM accuracy by updating call info, lead status, and cleaning data
  • Prepare sales reports (revenue trends, hit rates, pipeline, churn)
  • Provide general administrative support and manage office supplies/equipment

  • Assist with estimates, costings, rate proposals, and customer documentation
