Assistant Warehouse Manager

This role is ideal for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can oversee daily warehouse operations, manage stock and deliveries, and ensure excellent customer service through efficient order processing and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse and distribution activities, ensuring that orders and returns are processed timeously and accurately.
• Coordinate daily logistics planning, fleet management, and delivery schedules to meet customer expectations.
• Manage and improve stock control, including receiving, labelling, bin location management, and daily stock counts.
• Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with company procedures, health, and safety standards.
• Lead and motivate the warehouse team, ensuring productivity and high-quality service delivery.
• Conduct regular reporting on operational activities, queries, and stock figures.
• Monitor and resolve claims, delivery delays, and problematic parcels promptly.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and compliance with OHASA requirements.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• National Diploma or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration (advantageous).
• Minimum of 35 years' experience in warehouse or distribution management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP or stock management systems.
