Description
A listed, multinational information technology group is looking for a highly skilled, driven Project Accountant to join their team based in Johannesburg North.
You will be reporting to the Managing Director; your duties include but are not limited to capturing of bank transactions, processing of local and international agent supplier invoices, project transactions, capturing project cost to a job, reconciliations of salary accounts and PAYE accounts, handling of audit queries pertaining to mid-year review and annual audits, as well as any ad-hoc responsibilities that may be required of you.
Education Requirements:
BCom Degree in Accounting
Completed SAIPA Articles
Job Requirements and Skills:
3 years + accounting experience
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Project accounting experience
Adaptability to learning new accounting systems (ERP)
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Able to work under pressure
